A virtual event in support of National CASA/GAL and its nationwide network of programs.
May 1-2, 2021
On May 1-2, 2021, join CASA/GAL supporters across the nation for Walk. Run. Thrive. to help raise awareness for the National Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian ad Litem (CASA/GAL) Association for Children and its nationwide network of programs.
Walk. Run. Thrive. is a virtual event. Rather than traveling to one central location on a specific race day and time, you can participate by walking or running wherever you are. You get to choose your own day, time and pace.
As part of your registration, you will receive a signature Walk. Run. Thrive. t-shirt. Wear this shirt on your own personal race day to help raise awareness of our vital mission. Ask others to register and join you in participating in this event. You can complete the event in a variety of fun ways while safely adhering to social distancing regulations. Please follow the COVID-19 safety protocols for your community.
However you choose to participate, you will become part of something bigger. Whether you walk alone or with a small group, you will be part of a nationwide effort to support children and families. You will be a visible part of our movement of individuals who are making a difference in the lives of children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
Join us as we walk (or run) to help children thrive.
Each registered participant will receive a signature Walk. Run. Thrive. t-shirt.
On May 1-2, step out into your community, with your event t-shirt, and walk or run to show your support for our mission.
Share a selfie or video of your own activity on your social media channels to help raise awareness for the work of National CASA/GAL and its nationwide network of programs. Use the hashtags #WalkRunThrive or #ChangeAChildsStory. Follow our social channels (Facebook | Instagram | Twitter) all weekend to hear from event participants and read stories about the children and families that have been positively impacted by CASA and GAL volunteers.
