John Corso is president and CEO of Strategent Corporation, a management consulting and professional education firm located in the Washington DC area. Dr. Corso has achieved impressive results for individuals and organizations from various sectors of industry and service. He holds a Doctorate in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, with research and practice specialties in performance measurement, evaluation, training, organizational development, team leadership, and interpersonal dynamics. He teaches strategic management at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies and has served as an internal and external consultant since joining the University's faculty cadre in 2002. He has been a manager, consultant, educator, and coach to other managers and senior leaders for more than 35 years of public and private sector service.

Todd Deal, Senior Faculty & Director, Higher Education, Center for Creative Leadership

Todd serves as Senior Faculty and Director of the Higher Education practice of CCL's Societal Advancement team. Todd’s 30-year professional journey in higher education included rising through the faculty ranks to tenured Full Professor, during which time he also served a 5-year stint as Associate Dean for Academic & Student Affairs and 10 years as Executive Director for the Office of Leadership & Community Engagement in the Division of Student Affairs at Georgia Southern University. Todd is also founder, president, and chief learning officer of TDLearning, Inc., his company through which he has worked with corporate, nonprofit, governmental, and educational clients to provide professional and leadership development. In this role, Todd has facilitated community leadership development programs, executive retreats, and emerging leaders programs with a focus on developing high-performing teams. Todd earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southern University and his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. Todd is also a graduate of The Art and Practice of Leadership Development, an executive education program of Harvard’s Kennedy School.

Gary Steinberg, Vice President, Strategent Corporation

Gary Steinberg is a recognized leader in strategic planning, performance management, and organizational management and a Meritorious Executive recipient of the President's Rank Award. Currently he is the Vice President of Strategent Corporation and an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University. Over his 28-year career as a federal senior executive he served as Agency Director and Deputy Director at the Department of Labor’s Office of Workers' Compensation Programs. He served at the Department of Health and Human Services as the Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Resources and at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where he was the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation. He began his Federal career at NASA where he was the Director for Strategic Management and Quality Improvement Programs. He led the development of NASA's strategic and performance plans, the agency's strategic management system, and many of NASA's quality improvement initiatives. Mr. Steinberg graduated from the University of Connecticut cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Science degree, and from the University of Hartford with a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Beth worked as an executive director and marketing director for education and faith-based organizations and spent years working with museums as an educator, manager, and anthropologist. Brook serves as Development Director for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) leading a team that is responsible for business development and philanthropy to increase CCL’s impact in the social sector. Brook has more than twenty years of nonprofit leadership experience including work in independent schools, regional professional theater, United Way, and a statewide child welfare agency. She has built both systems and teams and led several organizational culture-change efforts, creating increased impact both for organizations and the communities they serve. As Executive Vice President, she led United Way of Greater Greensboro’s fundraising, internal operations and culture change efforts. As VP of Philanthropy for a statewide child welfare agency, Brook built a team of calling officers and event planners, creating an environment that both fostered accountability and grew a culture of philanthropy throughout the agency, while launching a multi-million dollar capital campaign. Brook earned her BA from Wake Forest University and her MBA from the Bryan School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
