National CASA/GAL provides ongoing training and support to our network during the pandemic.

The National CASA/GAL Association for Children is pleased to welcome Maureen Haller as its chief development officer.

With the addition of the COVID-19 pandemic, the stress and hardship on families requires even more collaboration, strategies and support from various systems – including foster care, as well as school systems, courts, community programs, and CASA/GAL programs – to strengthen the capacity of families to ensure the well-being of children and youth.

National Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian ad Litem (CASA/GAL) Association for Children and our programs nationwide are focused every day, every month on increasing awareness about child and family well-being.


Ruth has a strong history of building strong collaborative relationships with diverse partners.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, CASA and GAL volunteers remained committed to advocating for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, while adhering to CDC social distancing guidelines.

Corley’s passion for supporting children and youth have led her to serve as a mentor, tutor and youth advocate for the last 20 years.

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, and for the children entering foster care with developmental disabilities, an advocate for their best interests is essential.
