For the past 30 years, the women of Kappa Alpha Theta have provided critical support for and partnership with National CASA/GAL and our nationwide network of programs.
Thetas make lasting contributions as financial supporters and passionate ambassadors for the CASA mission. The fraternity’s more than 140 college-based chapters and 220 alumnae groups are generous supporters of our local programs. Collegiate chapters raise awareness for CASA and GAL programs through events, and members volunteer with local programs.
A recent million-dollar commitment by the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation funded our work in performance measurement, including the development of logic models and a series of resources and trainings to help CASA/GAL volunteers advocate for better outcomes connected to children’s safety, permanency and well-being.
To celebrate this special partnership, a collection of impact stories was developed in 2020 highlighting the ways in which Kappa Alpha Theta members support CASA/GAL programs nationwide.
