Why Monthly Giving Matters
Become a monthly supporter
Monthly support helps sustain advocacy year-round by providing the steady resources local programs and volunteers rely on to serve children consistently and effectively.
The power of consistency
For children in foster care, consistency can be life-changing. A steady advocate. Ongoing support. Someone who does not disappear when circumstances get hard.
The same principle applies to how advocacy is funded.
Monthly support provides the National CASA/GAL Association with dependable, predictable resources that allow us to plan responsibly and respond quickly to the needs of local programs. It helps ensure that volunteer recruitment continues uninterrupted, training platforms stay current, and critical support does not pause when grant cycles end or emergencies arise.
Because monthly gifts are sustained over time, they play a unique role in strengthening advocacy across the country. They help:
- Ongoing development and refinement of volunteer and youth-focused curricula
- Sustained access to no-cost national learning platforms
While one-time gifts help meet immediate needs, monthly support creates stability, the kind that allows organizations, volunteers, and ultimately children to rely on advocacy being there when it is needed most.
When support is steady, advocacy can be steady too.
